David Herskovits – Founding Artistic Director
David Herskovits (he/him) has directed a broad range of work, classics and neglected older work, new opera and music-theater, and adaptations of history and literature for the stage. His Target Margin works have won multiple OBIEs and been presented nationally and internationally. Outside of TMT, David directed a major new production of PORGY AND BESS for the 2016 Spoleto Festival. He has taught at numerous universities and schools. Adam M. Kassim – Associate Artistic Director
Adam M. Kassim (he series) is a theater director, educator and arts facilitator. Adam grew up in South Carolina and believes he is the Southern, gay, Palestinian American embodiment of Anne of Green Gables. Directing credits include: Keffiyeh/Made in China (Mosaic Theater Company); The Honey Trap (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre); Agamemnon and In the Heart of America (Boston University School of Theatre). Alyssa Haddad-Chin – Company & Community Manager
Alyssa Haddad-Chin (she/her) is a Lebanese-American playwright and educator from Upstate, NY whose work typically examines identity and generational (dis)connection through comedy. She has developed and presented work with The Playwrights Realm, New York Theatre Workshop, The Workshop Theatre, WP Theater, The Tank, The Brick, and more. Erica Laird – Financial Manager
Erica Laird (she/her) provides general management and/or financial services to various non-profit organizations including The Flea Theater, Space on Ryder Farm, and Caborca, and is a member of the Board of Directors for The Builders Association. She is the Producing Director for the american vicarious. Previously, she was the Managing Director for The Builders Association where she oversaw all the company’s operations and produced the development, premieres and touring of HOUSE / DIVIDED, SONTAG: REBORN and ELEMENTS OF OZ. Even before that, she was Marketing and Residency Manager at the Cutler Majestic Theater in Boston (now ArtsEmerson), and Senior Associate at NYC international booking agency Micocci Productions, where she booked tours for companies including STREB, Big Dance Theater, SITI Company and Mabou Mines.
Trey McGee – Operations Manager
Trey McGee (he/him) is a Brooklyn-based sound designer and physical theatre performer. In the world of sound design he has composed for short films, immersive experiences, and theater productions around the world. As a performer he produces work which focuses on non-verbal storytelling using sound and movement. Originally from Seattle, Trey has a particular fondness for forests, mountains, and sunsets. Marisa Tornello – Marketing Manager
Marisa Tornello (they/she) is a composer, vocalist, performance + video artist from and based on Staten Island. Marisa cultivates an artistic practice that explores the art of living scores and thematic development through the dual lens of trauma and healing. They were a recipient of the 2022 Artist Commission at Roulette Intermedium through the Jerome Foundation, and awarded the DCA Premier Grant and Howard Gilman Performing Artist Residency Cohort Grant in 2023. They founded the Ritornello Art Ensemble, and have worked with Pioneers Go East, Yoshiko Chuma and the School of Hard Knocks, Infrasound, and ECHOEnsemble. www.marisatornello.com
